France crowned champions at the LA 7s after 21-0 win over Great Britain in the Cup final

France are the new champions of the HSBC Los Angeles 7s in the Men’s category after beating Great Britain 21-0 in the Cup final today.

The French dominated in all aspects of the game scoring three converted tries and denying Great Britain a chance to score any points in the game.

France led 7-0 at the break after Antoine Zeghdar scored a try at the stroke of halftime.

Stephen Martin and Theo Forner scored a further two converted tries for France in the second spell to seal the win for them.

Ireland won bronze after beating Spain 24-7 in the 3rd place playoff.

Meanwhile, the Black Ferns 7s are the LA 7s Women’s champion after beating Australia 29-14 in the final while the USA won bronze after their 21-7 win over Canada in the Women’s 3rd place playoff.
