Upgrades work underway at Foster Road in Walu Bay

The Foster Road upgrading project at Walu Bay is expected to be completed by the end of October this year, weather permitting.

Fiji Roads Authority CEO Kamal Prasad says they had experienced some delays in this project due to the supply of underground wires from Energy Fiji Limited and this has been sorted.

He says there was material shortage and the weather we had experienced over the few weeks.

Prasad confirms that all these causes of delay have been sorted and work is progressing well.

During the visit by the media, the contractors working on the Foster Road Upgrading Project highlighted that 70 percent of the works have been completed.
