Former Fiji FA president Dr Sahu Khan passes away

The former President of Fiji Football Association and former Ba lawyer Dr Shamsud-Dean Sahu Khan has passed away.

He served as the President of Fiji FA for 26 years, from 1985 to 2011, after serving as the Vice President from 1971 to 1985.

He was a member of FIFA Disciplinary Committee for two terms of four years, also serving as the deputy chairman of the same committee for some time.

Fiji FA President, Rajesh Patel says Dr.Sahu Khan was a well-known person during his time of presidency and he pay his respect for the good deeds he has done for football in Fiji back then.

Patel says the current Fiji FA National Technical Academy in Ba was built during Dr Sahu Khan presidency.
