Former FICAC manager acquitted of charges
The former Finance Manager of Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption was acquitted by the Suva Magistrates Court this morning.

Anil Datt Maharaj was charged with one count of willfully removing evidence in relation to the case of a former FICAC accounts clerk in March last year.

FICAC lawyer, Vincent Parera filed a “nolle prosequi” today and informed Magistrate Tusshara Rajasinghe that they have decided to discontinue the case after a request made by the Defense counsel through written submissions.
