Former European heavyweight champion and British title challenger David Adeleye has backed former heavyweight champion Joseph Parker to defeat IBF Heavyweight World champion Daniel Dubois in their upcoming bout this month.

Adeleye used his experience of sparring both men to back Parker for the win, and potentially by knockout.

Adeleye says he thinks Parker is just a bit too much and is a tough opponent.

He says it's either Parker stops Dubois in good fashion, or it will be close on points.

He adds Parker is a more well-rounded fighter as he can do a bit more, especially with good balance and good punch selection, and he is fast and uses his head.

Adeleye says he has been in the ring with Parker and he has seen certain things Parker does that can upset Dubois.

When speaking about Dubois, Adeleye says Dubois is a big opponent, good in straight lines, and obviously, he is in for a puncher’s chance since he is a heavyweight.

He adds Dubois has been on form and he is doing what he needs to do.

Meanwhile, the winner of the fight will look to go straight into an undisputed contest against Oleksandr Usyk.

Parker will take on Dubois on the 22nd of this month in the undercard bout of Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol 2.
