Former Constable In Custody For Paper Leakage
Navua Police are questioning a former Special Police Constable of Nabua Police Station for allegedly stealing three Fiji Junior Certificate (FJC) Examination papers and later selling them to the members of the public.

Police had confirmed the former special constable was sent to the Government Printery to supervise the workers who were printing the FJC papers when the alleged incident took place.

It is alleged he stole the Mathematics, English and Basic Science exam papers and later sold them to some students in Suva and Navua. The price for these papers ranged from $12 to $20.

Police were tipped off and upon investigations it was revealed that the former special constable made multiple copies of the exam papers and sold them to students.

Navua Police also managed to recover some of the papers over the weekend.

He is expected to be charged later today.
