There is no room for division, disloyalty, or personal agenda. For anyone thinking of jumping ship or forming their own party, leave now. We don’t need you, and neither does Fiji.

This is the sentiment shared by the Minister for Agriculture and Waterways, Vatimi Rayalu after the Prime Minister and People's Alliance Party Leader Sitiveni Rabuka confirmed that he is aware of some of the members of the People’s Alliance Party planning to form a new political party for the 2026 general elections.

Rayalu says he stands strongly with the Prime Minister and the Party, and they are not here by chance.

He says they are here because of the sacrifices that Fijians made, coming out in numbers during the 2022 General Election to vote for change.

He also says they are that change, as the people have chosen them, and they are here to stay.

The Minister says he is here to serve all Fijians, and he will not let rumours, backdoor plots, or self-serving agendas derail the work they are doing.

He adds if people do not respect the voters who put their trust in them, then don’t expect them to respect you.

Rayalu says their focus is on the future of Fiji, and the People's Alliance Party is committed to building a better nation for all Fijians.

Speaking to those trying to destabilise them, the Minister says they are moving forward without them, stronger than ever.
