The Fiji Water Flying Fijians are approaching tomorrow’s final 2023 Rugby World Cup pool match against Portugal with a lot of caution knowing it will not be an easy game considering how well the Portuguese have been playing throughout the tournament.

Head Coach Simon Raiwalui says he has been watching Portugal play knowing that they are in the same pool with Fiji and they are playing a great brand of rugby.

Raiwalui says Portugal has a great coaching management as well and it is showing with how they have been playing so far.

He says they just want to go out tomorrow and perform to the best of their ability and let the result take care of itself.

The Flying Fijians will need one point from this match to help them make an appearance in the quarter finals again after a lapse of 16 years.

The last time Fiji qualified for the RWC quarter final was back in 2007 after they beat Wales 38-34 in their final pool encounter.

The Flying Fijians went on to play the actual winner South Africa in the quarter finals and lost 37-20 after giving the Springboks a scare in that game.

Fiji will take on Portugal at 7am tomorrow in Toulouse.
