The Fiji Water Flying Fijians had their consistency around the ruck area tested against Samoa last week and that is one area that they will want to improve on as they prepare for their next Pacific Nations Cup clash against Tonga next Friday.

Captain Tevita Ikanivere says their physicality as well was exposed by the Samoans but they managed to sort it out in the second half of the match that helped them get the win.

When asked about the challenge that they will be expecting against Tonga next week, Ikanivere says it is always a challenge playing the Tongans on their home turf as they also have a good support base just like here in Fiji.

Fiji is currently leading pool A with 5 points and is on a bye this weekend.

The Pacific Nations Cup matches this week will see Samoa hosting Tonga at 4pm tomorrow and the USA Eagles will play Canada at 1pm Sunday.
