The special day for lovers has arrived and florists around the country have been busy since this morning preparing thousands of flower orders.
Tandra Flowers outlets confirmed their stores being busy since 4 this morning said director Araylea Waters.
Araylea said between their two shops people were already cueing up for orders.
Roses she said are still the popular choice for flowers, with orders being placed too by holidaymakers celebrating the occasion here.
Valentine’s Day she said is becoming a big trend and is gaining popularity for locals.
Delivery of flowers she says also extend to Vatukoula and Nausori love birds.
80-100% of flower deliveries she confirmed will be made to workplaces today.
Meanwhile, a Nasoso florist in Nadi who owns “Forever Flowers” nursery said she has received orders for Valentine’s Day from individuals and one big order from Mana Island Resort.
Nina Baleiverata has managed to plant her own flowers at home but for the roses she orders from Tadra Flowers.
Baleiverata said this is the time when florists in the country showcase their flowers and provide the best arrangement to couples and loved ones on Valentine’s Day.
She not only sells stamps of roses but “flower in the basket” with orchid, anthurium, ginger and green fern.
Gina Nand from Drasa Lautoka believes your Valentine can be anyone who cares for you.
