Flood warning remains in force for low lying areas and areas adjacent to Naqali River

A flood warning remains in force for low lying areas and areas adjacent to Naqali River.

The latest update by the Nadi Weather Office this afternoon says the water level at Naqali River is above warning level and decreasing.

A flood alert is also in force for low lying areas adjacent to small streams in Vanualevu and Viti Levu.

Please remember there is still a heavy rain warning in force for Viti Levu, Vanua Levu and Lomaiviti group.

This is all being caused by the trough of low pressure that is slowly moving over the Fiji group.

People should expect rain until the weekend.
