Flash flood warning remains for low lying areas
A flash flooding warning is still in place for low-lying areas around the country.

Weather forecasters say people can expect periods of rain throughout today.

A tropical disturbance lies to the North of Fiji and is slowly moving South Southeast.

However, there have been no reports of flooding from the north and road closures.

An associated active trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain lies over the group.

National DISMAC Director Pajilia-i Doubui has advised people living in low-lying areas to be alert of flooding and evacuate to higher grounds if flooding should occur.
