A flash flood warning is now in place for the low lying areas in the country as heavy rain continues.
The Nadi Weather Office said people should expect more rain throughout today going into tonight.
This is due to a trough of low pressure located between Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.
Most parts of Vanua Levu and Eastern parts of Viti Levu are expected to receive continuous heavy rain.
The weather is expected to clear by tomorrow night.
