A Flash Flood Alert is in force for all low lying, flash flood prone areas and small streams of Vanua Levu while a Heavy Rain Warning is now in force for the Northern Division.
The Nadi Weather Office says persistent heavy rain may lead to flash flooding of low lying and flood prone areas.
A Heavy Rain Alert remains in force for the Central and Eastern Division and is now in force for Yasawas.
The Weather Office says a trough of low pressure lies slow moving over the Fiji group and associated cloud, rain and showers affects the Fiji group.
They say it is expected to gradually ease from the West from later today and clear the group by later tomorrow.
