The Vodafone Fijiana XVs will be looking to utilise the upcoming 2 test matches against the Japanese Women’s XVs side to build their depth for the Women’s Rugby World in England next year.

Coach Mosese Rauluni says their preparation for these 2 tests has been coming along well and they continue to build on their detailing after returning from the Oceania Rugby Championship.

Rauluni says they are focused on their fitness as this week is all about getting things right before the first test on Friday. On the other hand, the Japanese Women’s side is expecting a tough challenge from the home side.

Coach Lesley McKenzie says they have come prepared knowing that Fiji are confident on their home ground which will add more dimension to how they will perform. McKenzie says they are here to showcase the Japanese kind of rugby and win the 2 tests. The Fijiana will take on Japan at 6pm this Friday in the first test match at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. The second test match will be at 6pm next Thursday at Churchill Park in Lautoka. Tickets are $15 for the grandstand and $5 for grass seating and children under 12 will enjoy free admission. Marika
