Fijiana XV names squad to face Colombia in WXV3 opener with two debutants

The Vodafone Fijiana XVs side to take on Colombia in their inaugural World Rugby WXV3 tournament debut in Dubai has been named with head coach Inoke Male naming two debutants in the match day squad.

The two newcomers are winger Iva Sauira from New Zealand and hooker Unaisi Lalabalavu from Nadroga.

Sauira will start on the left wing while Lalabalavu will be on the bench as the replacement hooker.

Male says that this lineup boasts a wealth of experience, with many senior players securing spots in the starting lineup.

He says the players have the ability to fulfill their positions and given the opportunity, they will do their best.

Some notable names in the starting lineup include Fijiana Drua captain Bitila Tawake, Sereima Leweniqila who will also lead the side, explosive centre Vani Arei, Merewai Cumu and nippy fullback Luisa Tisolo.

Fijiana will play Colombia at 1am tomorrow.
