Fiji finishes 4th at England 7s
The Vodafone Fiji 7s team finished fourth at the England 7s tournament after losing 26-19 to England in the third and fourth place playoff this morning.

England dominated possession in the match scoring four tries to claim the victory in front of their home crowd.

Fiji scored three tries through Emosi Mulevoro, Waisea Nacuqu and Leo Naikasau.

Fiji lost out in the cup semifinal going down to New Zealand 12-10 earlier this morning.

It was a see saw battle until the final whistle as both teams scored two tries each in the match.

Fiji scored first through Samisoni Viriviri after it was set up by captain Osea Kolinisau.

New Zealand replied with a try from Scott Curry to lead 7-5 at halftime.

In the second half Benito Masilevu scored Fiji’s second try as they led 10-5 before Curry sneaked through again to score the winning try right at full time.

The All Blacks 7s team went on to win the England 7s title, beating Australia 52-33 in the cup final.

The win also saw New Zealand claim their 12th IRB 7s title.

Captain DJ Forbes said their hard work has finally paid off.
