Fiji Women’s 7s thrashes Solomon Islands 47-0 in second pool match

The Fiji Women’s 7s side has secured their second win in the 2023 Pacific Games 7s tournament after a 47-0 win over host the Solomon Islands this afternoon.

Fiji scored 5 converted tries in the first spell and went into the break with a comfortable 35-0 lead at the break.

The host side improved their discipline in defence in the second spell as Fiji only managed to score two tries with one conversion.

The Fiji Women’s 7s team will play the Cook Islands at 6.12 this evening in their final pool match.

The Women’s Championship semi finals will begin at 12pm tomorrow and the final will be at 8.12pm tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Men’s 7s side will take on Kiribati at 3.12pm this afternoon.

The Men’s Championship quarter finals will kick off at 7.24 tonight and the Championship semi finals will start at 2.24pm tomorrow.

The gold medal final will be at 9pm tomorrow.
