Fiji Water Foundation donated 350 mattresses, pillows and cotton bedsheets and pillow cases through Comfort Homes

The Fiji Water Foundation in partnership with Comfort Home Furnishings has donated urgent bedding materials to support the Ministry of Health’s ongoing COVID-19 containment efforts around the country.

The donation includes 350 vinyl covered hospital mattresses and bed sheets, vinyl pillows, and polyester pillow cases.

The timely donation comes as the Ministry of Health ramps up its efforts in establishing new Community Isolation Facilities across the country.

Fiji Water Director External Affairs and Community Engagement, Geoffrey Smith says they applaud all our health professionals for their commitment and hope this donation will help ease their burden during these challenging times.

The donation will be used at newly established Community Isolation Facilities across the Central, Western, Eastern and Northern Division.

Minister for Health, Dr. Ifereimi Waqainabete has thanked the foundation for the donation and says winning the war against this pandemic starts with winning these small battles every single day because ultimately we are all in this fight together.
