Acting Fiji Rugby Union CEO Koli Sewabu

Acting Fiji Rugby Union CEO Koli Sewabu says the Shop N Save Fiji Warriors side that will take on the Australian team touring Fiji later this month, will be selected from the Skipper Cup and Vanua Championship competitions, and also from the Fiji U20.

While the announcements of the team have not been revealed yet, Sewabu says that there are going to be a few surprises.

He says he will verify the names that have been sent to him, and the official announcement will happen soon.

When asked who will coach the Fiji Warriors, Sewabu says, for now, they are engaging their local HPU coaches, but they will be bringing in a number of upcoming local coaches to be attached to the camp so that they can also have part of their professional development in terms of coaching at this level.

He adds that this is part of their new coaching development pathway, which exposes them at this level.
