People can expect a new look Fiji Museum by the end of this year as the second phase of renovation works on the historic building is expected to start next month.
Chairman of the Fiji Museum Trust Ikbal Janiff says it will include the relocation of their Souvenir shop to the main entrance.
Janiff says the current Souvenir shop will be used to display additional exhibits.
The $130,000 project is funded by the government and is expected to be completed in September.
The Fiji Museum was built in 1955 and currently holds 10,000 historic collections from around Fiji and the Pacific.
