 Fiji Men’s and Women’s 7s teams move up on the points table after Cape Town 7s

The Fiji Airways National Men’s and Women’s 7s teams have climbed up the points table of the 2023-2024 HSBC SVNS Series after the completion of the Cape Town 7s yesterday

The Fiji Men’s 7s side moved up to 3rd place with 30 points after finishing third at the tournament ahead of New Zealand who have slipped down to 4th place.

Argentina now leads the Men’s table with 38 points, South Africa is in second place with 30 points and is tied with Fiji.

The Fiji Women’s side is now in fourth place with 24 points after another 5th place finish at the tournament moving ahead of Canada who have slipped to fifth place after finishing 6th in the tournament.

Australia leads the Women’s points table with 40 points while France and New Zealand are in second and third place respectively with 34 points each.

The second leg will be held in Perth, Australia from the 26th to the 28th of January 2024.
