Fiji Gas today signed a three-year deal with the Fiji Rugby Union to sponsor the Fijiana Drua and development of women's rugby in Fiji.
The three-year deal will see the Fiji Gas logo on the Fijiana Drua playing shorts next season until 2025.
FRU Chairman Commodore Humphrey Tawake says they are extremely grateful to Fiji Gas for their belief in women’s rugby and trusting Fiji Rugby through their sponsorship.
Fiji Gas CEO Hans Reiher says he made the approach to get this deal done after watching the Fijiana live in Brisbane.
He adds that he felt really proud seeing how women’s rugby has evolved in Fiji.
The Fijiana Drua will be heading into the 2023 Super W Competition as the defending champion.
