A former employee has filed a complaint against the Fiji Football Association with the Ministry of Employment.

Former Fiji FA Technical Director Ravinesh Kumar claims he is owed money.

Fiji FA says they will defend their position and at no point in time has any employee not been paid his or her salary or any other bonus which is solely based on the outstanding performance of a particular employee.

The Association says all staff members are aware they have a performance-based increment/bonus system in place, which was suspended to continue employing all its staff during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

They say this merit-based pay increment will be reviewed upon a decision from the Finance Committee once the pandemic is over.
