The Digicel Fiji 7s team beat Waimanu 45-nil in the final last night to claim the Digicel Suva international 7s title and the first prize-money of $10,000.
It was also sweet revenge for Iliesa Tanivula's men, who lost to Waimanu 12-0 in their final pool match on Friday evening.
Fiji Barbarians proved all the critics wrong and outclassed Waimanu in all aspects.
Winger Osea Kolinisau was the hero of the side scoring a brace of tries in the final, and should be included in the 12-man Fiji 7s squad for New Zealand International and San Diego 7s tournaments next month.
Fiji's other tries came from Jiuta Lutumailagi, Emosi Vucago, Setefano Cakau, Jerry Burotu and William Ryder.
Kolinisau also put in a drop goal.
Meanwhile Samoa defeated Army in the Shield final by 28-7. In the Bowl finals Manawatu beat Tonga 17-12.
In the Plate final Ratu Felise beat Canada 27-12.
The Digicel Fiji 7s coach Iliesa Tanivula was satisfied with the performance of his players in the Digicel Suva international 7s three day tournament.
Tanivula will announce his 12-man squad next week that will compete in the second leg of the IRB World 7s Series tournaments in Wellington and Las Vegas next month.
Tanivula said he will also wait for the report on the Davetalevu team, currently competing at the Darwin 7s before announcing his team.
He said players may be going through medical check-ups today to see whether any one is carrying an injury from the Suva International 7s tournament.
Suva 7s coach, Kalisito Tunaulu is keeping his fingers crossed that his winger Patrick Osborne will get the nod in the Fiji 7s team.
Waimanu Coach Sailosi Naiteqe Snr said his player Joe Nakaira deserves a chance to get selected in the team.
Nakaira was named the Player of the Tournament last night and also won $1,000.
