Residents of the Vomo, Ba and Namaka Police Barracks have cordoned off their areas as a proactive measure to keep themselves and their families safe from COVID-19.

This means that no one from outside can visit Police personnel or their families living in the barracks.

People living inside the barracks are also on restricted movement.

Police say their officers are not immune to this virus and they are taking all the necessary steps to protect themselves and their family members.
