The Fiji Roads Authority will be looking at the possibility of opening up two lanes along Edinburgh Drive in the mornings going down to Suva and one lane coming from Suva.
FRA CEO, Jonathan Moore confirmed this after Legend FM News put to FRA whether this can be a possibility to ease the morning traffic jams.
Moore says that they will have a one week trial period in August or September to see how the public reacts to it.
He says they will be looking at other traffic congestion areas where the same three lane concept can apply
