The FIJI Water Foundation has distributed care packages to over 4,300 frontline nurses and doctors, providing them with personal hygiene items such as lotion and hand sanitiser.

It says all products were sourced from local businesses.

Children from Care Homes across Fiji also contributed their thanks by creating hand-written cards to include in the packs.

FIJI Water Foundation Manager, Marie Smith says they are grateful to their frontline healthcare workers for their sacrifice to keep Fijian communities safe.

Smith says these care packages are only a small token of their recognition and thanks for all their efforts throughout the pandemic.
