The Brazilian team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar has confirmed Neymar Jr has been ruled out of Brazil's games against Switzerland on Tuesday at 4am and Cameroon next Saturday at 7am after sustaining ligament damage in his right ankle.

Neymar also got injured in the 2014 World Cup sustaining an injury to his vertebrae.

Neymar wrote on his Instagram, that nothing came easy in his life and he has always had to work for his dreams and goals.

Being the most expensive footballer in history, Neymar Jr has scored 105 goals in 186 games for Barcelona and has netted 115 times in 163 appearances for Paris St-Germain.

He is Brazil's second-highest scorer with 75 goals, behind only Pele, but he is yet to win a World Cup title.

Another player, Danilo Luiz da Silva has also injured his left ankle and will also not play against Switzerland.
