FHL Tower construction site incident victim passes away

A man who was injured alongside his workmate while working at the Fijian Holdings Limited Tower construction site last month has passed away.

This has been confirmed by FHL who says they have been advised by the main contractors about the sad news.

FHL says the second individual has been discharged from the hospital and is recovering well.

The incident that happened on the 25th of November has resulted in the opening of the FHL Tower being postponed.

FHL says they continue to work closely with the contractor and relevant authorities to ensure due process is followed and that all safety protocols are strictly upheld.

FHL has sent their deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased during this difficult time.
