Extensive voter registration in the Central Division to get people to upgrade to blue voter card
Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem

The Fijian Elections Office will be conducting an extensive voter registration drive to target the 96,000 people who have yet to upgrade to the new blue voter card.

Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem says they have found that the bulk of their target are from the urban areas in the Central Division and have set up 30 locations.

Saneem adds this maybe their last chance to update their details as part of the drive as we are a few days to the possible issue of the Writ of Election.

Saneem says they have started the drive at 11 this morning and will continue into this weekend with more than 100 staff spread across the Central Division.
