Interim Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has raised concern on some key sections of the media allegedly taking sides in relation to reporting on the judiciary.
Sayed-Khaiyum said the media should ensure that there is balanced reporting however, he believes this is not being done by some media outlets.
Meanwhile Sayed-Khaiyum said the four day visit to Fiji by the International Bar Association of Human Rights Institute or the IBA in February will not be welcomed by the Interim Government now.
He said they have said no to the visit because there are a number of matters before various tribunals and the courts.
Fiji TV and Fiji Sun are expected to comment later today. We are currently trying to speak to the Fiji Times.
