South Africa’s director of rugby Rassie Erasmus says England will be out to take revenge when the two teams clash in their 2023 Rugby World Cup semi final match this weekend.

The Springboks beat England 32-12 in the 2019 RWC final in Japan when they were coached by Eddie Jones and Erasmus says England will be be hurting from that.

Erasmus says the English side is full of belief, they will be a very desperate team and a team which the Springboks will respect.

He adds England has so many experienced players who played against the Springboks last time and they were very physical and he expects them to be stepping it up this time.

Erasmus says England is unbeaten so far at the 2023 RWC because they stuck to their game plans and kept believing in what they’re doing which is paying off.

South Africa will take on England at 7am Sunday in the second semi final.

In another semi final, Argentina will take on New Zealand at 7am Saturday.
