Employment Ministry donates to Fiji Cancer Society

As part of its corporate social responsibility, the Ministry of Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations staff made donations to the Fiji Cancer Society Toiletry Drive.

The donation was made by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Osea Cawaru, who stated that they hope the donated items will assist cancer patients.

Fiji Cancer Society’s Grace Tuvakasiga says they register around 300 patients every year.

She says so far this year, they have registered 93 cancer patients.
