Saneem said if the Fiji Trades Union Congress is a registered trade union, then the FTUC Elections is required to be administered by the Fijian Elections Office.

Felix Anthony who resigned from the position as the General Secretary of the FTUC to contest the 2014 General Elections has been re‑elected to his old position.

Acting General Secretary, Rajeshwar Singh was also vying for the post.

Anthony had earlier said that the union will always remain in his blood.

When questioned after the elections, he was confident that he will retain his position.

Daniel Urai who was elected unopposed remains as President of the FTUC, while the three vice presidents are Kolo-kesa Kini, Apisai Baka-baka and Vidya Singh.
