An elderly woman passed away after getting hit by a bus in Labasa Town just after 9am today.
Police say the woman is believed to be from Siberia, Labasa.
A Police team is at the scene conducting the initial investigation.
An eyewitness has confirmed to Fijivillage that the incident occurred just next to the crossing area near the BSP Bank in Labasa Town.
The bus driver is yet to be interviewed.
