Eid Mubarak to all those celebrating Eid in Fiji today

Eid Mubarak to all those celebrating Eid in Fiji today.

As thousands of Fijians celebrate Eid, people are being urged to abide by the current rules and regulations in place because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fiji Muslim President Haji Hafizud Dean Khan says going to places and visits has to be carefully managed because of the limitations on the number of people and social distancing.

He says they expect that visitors, as well as people doing the hospitality, will manage that sensibly.

The league is also recommending members to offer Eid prayers with families at homes as places of worship remain closed.
