The concerns raised by the public about the usage of the e-ticketing transport system will soon be resolved.

Minister for Public Works, Transport and Meteorological Services, Ro Filipe Tuisawau says the ministry is working together with Minister of Communications, Manoa Kamikamica, and his team in trying to address the issue.

Ro Filipe says they have been receiving a lot of complaints and they are having discussions in order to come up with a solution.

He says they are working with the Ministry of communications as the providers of e-ticketing cards such as Vodafone come under them.

When asked by fijivillage News if there is a possibility that the usage of cash in public buses could be brought back for those who find difficulties in topping up their cards in the remote areas and during odd hours, Ro Filipe says they will need to have consultations with bus companies and the transport sector in the country before they can make a decision.
