Dudley High School Board to hold emergency meeting to address alleged assault of 17yr-old

The Dudley High School Board will hold an emergency meeting to address the incident where a 17-year-old student was allegedly assaulted at the school and later hospitalised due to serious injuries.

Dudley High School Board Chairperson Reverend Emmanuel Reuben says that the meeting will be held tomorrow where they will discuss the issue of discipline and tardiness due to students playing truant.

Meanwhile, Police say that a few Dudley High School students were taken in for questioning after they allegedly assaulted a 17‑year‑old student of their school.

They say no charges have been laid as investigations are still ongoing and they are still in the initial stages of gathering information.

Police had earlier confirmed that the 17‑year‑old boy had to be taken to the hospital by the boy’s mother.

The mother reported the matter to Police and has also submitted the medical report.

The report states that the boys assaulted the 17‑year‑old at the Toorak based school.
