The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will head into this week’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific clash against the Waratahs hoping they don’t repeat the mistake they made against the Western Force last week and that was heading into the game not being ready to play.

Coach Mick Byrne says the players were riding high from their win against the Hurricanes a fortnight ago, and thought they’d just turn up against the Force and bag an easy win.

He says it was obvious they were not ready as they committed silly mistakes and giving away possessions.

Byrne says they can not afford to do the same against the Waratahs as they have learned a valuable lesson and that was to not bank on the success from the previous week and hope it will help win the game in the following week.

The Fijian Drua take on the Waratahs at 9.35pm Saturday.

In other matches this week, Moana Pasifika will host the Crusaders at 7.05pm Friday, the Reds will take on the Blues at 9.35pm Friday, the Highlanders will take on the Rebels at 4.35pm Saturday, the Chiefs will play the Hurricanes at 7.05pm Saturday while the Force will take on the Brumbies at 12am Sunday.
