Drua aims for 7th-place finish after top 6 hopes were shattered

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua are aiming for a better finish in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific points table, and they have now set their goal of finishing in 7th place, now with their hopes of a top 6 finish gone, following their loss to the Blues last week in Suva.

Coach Glen Jackson says they, as a club, are striving very hard to finish as high as they can.

Jackson says that though they would not be able to make the finals this season, they know if they can still win, and finish 7th, that would be the best they have ever finished in the competition.

He says he is confident the team will be better than last week when they were still in the scrap.

The Drua currently sits in last place in the Super Rugby Pacific points table with 15 points from 3 wins so far this season.

The Drua will take on the Force at 3.35pm Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka in their last home game of the 2025 season.

In other matches this week, the Hurricanes will play the Highlanders at 7.05pm Friday, the Waratahs will host the Crusaders at 9.35pm Friday, Moana Pasifika will take on the Blues at 7.05pm Saturday, and the Brumbies will play the Reds at 9.35pm.
