Consultation on the draft Media Development Decree starts later this morning and Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said it is clear that many people want set rules for the media industry.
Sayed-Khaiyum said the draft decree is available to the invited stakeholders from 8am this morning and the government is ready to hold consultations all day.
However, Sayed-Khaiyum has also stressed that the government is concerned about the Fiji Times, which according to him, is threatening the state of Fiji.
