Diwali experience for visitors in hotels/resorts

Visitors to Fiji will get a special treat at hotels and resorts around the country this coming long weekend as they will get to experience a different side of Fiji's multi cultural society through the celebration of the festival of lights, Diwali.

A number of hotels and resorts Fijivillage spoke to confirmed that they will encourage their guests to dress up in Indian attire and learn about Diwali with firework displays also on the card.

Fiji Hoteliers Association President Dixon Seeto also revealed that special Diwali packages are being advertised in Australia as an added form of attraction for our tourism industry.

Seeto said Diwali is a perfect opportunity to give visitors an experience with a difference.
