A 51-year-old farmer of Kubulau, Bua has died following a diving trip.
The 51-year-old of Waisa village was diving at the Waisa reef with his son on Wednesday afternoon when he suddenly felt ill and weak.
He was rushed to the Namalata Health Centre and later transferred to the Nabouwalu Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
Meanwhile, the search for a 68-year-old man of Naibalebale village in Yasawa continues.
He had gone diving on Wednesday morning.
Police say the victim had gone diving at about 9am and failed to return home.
A search was conducted where only his clothes were found.
Police request the members of the public to be cautious when taking part in any form of water activities.
