Digicel Fiji is currently working to enable its customers to use the MyCash App as a payment method for their online shopping for supermarkets.

This was highlighted by the Digicel CEO Farid Mohammed who says that they are in the final stages of testing and installation phase with a few of the major supermarkets on this online shopping platform and an announcement is expected in due course.

Mohammed says they are also working with a few E-Market shopping platform providers and other essential service providers such as Hot Bread Kitchen and Fiji Gas to put MyCash as a payment option.

When questioned if there is an option to transfer money from a person's bank account into their My Cash account or if they are looking to have this option, Mohammed says there is currently no bank to mobile wallet facility available.

He says this is also work in progress and they hope to have this service up and running too.
