Digicel Fiji have signed a new Merchant Agreement with the Fijian Holdings Unit Trust (FHUT) that offers Unit Holders the opportunity to buy units using Digicel Fiji’s MyCash mobile App.

FHUT General Manager, Elenoa Kaloumaira says they are delighted to partner with Digicel Fiji’s MyCash that offers customers easy access to a secure and convenient payment platform.

Kaloumaira says they value the role of technology and additional services offered by Digicel Fiji, which will provide the unit-holders with another option to top up their accounts.

She says investors will also be able to receive dividend payments directly to their mobile phones.

Digicel Fiji Head of Business Solutions, Morika Hunter, says the partnership with FHUT expands the presence of MyCash and their objective as a digital operator to continue improving their customer experience.

Hunter says the partnership with FHUT allows them to drive financial inclusion and access for Fijians across the country as MyCash is a safe and contactless digital payment platform.

Unit-holders will soon be able to purchase units via their MyCash app under Fijian Holdings Unit Trust in the Bill Pay option.

Digicel Fiji and FHUT have negotiated this partnership to ensure both companies provide customers with modern services in an increasingly digitized world.

This agreement marks a significant milestone in the development of MyCash’s presence in the country, enabling customers to make bill payments, families and friends to transfer money domestically and internationally, and buy goods and services online or for onward transfers.
