The Deputy Chairperson of Fiji Television Limited, Gary Callaghan has resigned.
Callaghan has confirmed this to Fijivillage saying he tendered his resignation on Monday morning.
Fiji Television Limited Board Chairman, Iowane Naiveli said he has received Callaghan's resignation through an email and he will table this in their next board meeting before Christmas.
Fijian Holdings Limited which is the majority shareholder of Fiji TV, has been in the limelight recently after the former Chairman of the Fiji TV Board Padam Lala resigned from his position two weeks ago.
More recently, Fiji TV Chief Executive Officer, Tevita Gonelevu and Head of Content Tanya Waqanika were sent home on Wednesday.
FHL Chief Executive Officer, Nouzab Fareed had said the decision was made in the interest of the company.
