Corporal Narayan recognised for 25 years of service and wants to continue to inspire girls
Corporal Nalini Narayan

Corporal Nalini Narayan who is one of the many officers that received medals this week to recognise their long service in the Fiji Police Force says she is grateful that women in the force continue to be given opportunities to grow.

This is her 25th year as a Police Officer.

She joined the Fiji Police Force in 1995 as a special constable and got included in the regular force in 1998.

Corporal Narayan says she has served in several units since then.

She is currently based at the Traffic Branch at the Nakasi Police Station and says she is grateful that she has a very supportive husband who is also a Police Officer.

Corporal Narayan says she will continue to do her best and be an example for girls and women especially her two children.

Corporal Narayan says she loves helping manage the traffic every morning at the Nakasi roundabout even though some drivers may not be understanding.
