Serious questions have been raised by the public about the poor performance of the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team over the last seven tournaments.

After losing to Argentina 19-14 in the Vancouver 7s cup quarter-finals yesterday, fans have been posting up on social media expressing their concerns about the team’s below-par display.

This is the 7th consecutive tournament in the 2022/2023 World 7s Series that Fiji has not won any gold medal.

Fiji will now take on the USA in the 5th place semi-final at 8.30 this morning.

In the cup semi-finals, Australia will play France at 9.48am while Argentina will take on Ireland at 10.10am today.

The cup final will be at 2.26pm today.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team will take on Great Britain in the 5th place semi final at 7.24 this morning.

The women’s cup semi finals will see Australia taking on the USA at 9.24am while New Zealand will play France at 9.26am today.

The women’s cup final will be at 1.26pm today.
