An increase in the number of children roaming around in the Capital City and begging has been noticed in the past few weeks.
The areas which have been identified by concerned citizens are MHCC, Village 6 cinemas, the Chinese Pavilion at Nabukalou Creek and Ratu Sukuna Park.
Permanent Secretary for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Josefa Koroivueta says that they are looking into the issue.
Koroivueta is expected to give further comments soon.
